We are currently seeking a Pre-Press Designer.

A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Success as a Pre-Press Designer is being able to achieve the following expectations:

  • Preflight incoming designs for quality and accuracy.
  • Meet promise dates based on client and production requirements
  • Facilitate the success of a client program through collaboration with the graphic engineers
  • Develop and refine the graphic design process for our manufacturing facility
  • Develop and support business processes for pre-press
  • Create production ready artwork for both large format print and graphic finishing
  • Assist graphic engineering department with technical Illustrator needs to improve vehicle template accuracy
  • Complete process development projects within the forecasted deadlines
  • Responsible for the processing and submission of all ordering and scheduling documents

  • Basic understanding of reading JSON syntax and Javascript languages

Education / skills required for this role:

  • Associate or Bachelor?s Degree in Graphic Design preferred or related field; company will consider a combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in design software programs (Adobe Creative Cloud) including Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Email and Calendar skills
  • Commitment to continuous education, such as manufacturing of creative design to drive improvements of design and finished products

Additional Requirements:

  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a ?Driver? as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
  • Valid driver?s license
  • Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
