Job Description
Essential Functions:Repairing and maintaining GOLF CARTs on the Island.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose all problems before repairing a GOLF CART.
Look up all parts in the catalog book as needed for repairs.
Write and calculate repair estimates.
Receive and organize all inventory ordered by the purchasing agent.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of repair shop.
Oversee and resolve lease problems with GOLF CART and parts vendors.
Provide work orders monthly to the accounting department for invoicing.
Work with purchasing agent on inventory parts needed for day-to-day operation.
Provide excellent customer service to FICA members.
Comply with all Fisher Island standards, policies, and procedures.
Communicate directly with residents/cart owners with regards to repair status.
Perform all other related duties as requested.
Retrieve and tow inoperable carts to and from the repair shop.
Education/ Skills/ Work Experience RequiredGood communication and organizational skills
Knowledge in GOLF CART REPAIR.
Knowledge of repair equipment.
Must speak, read, and write English.
Working Conditions / Physical RequirementsOutside repair shop environment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted. (Cart Battery Weight)
Must be able to walk up and down one flight of stairs.
Must be able to bend and lift normally.
Must be able to stand and work on a shop floor for extended periods and work above, on and underneath carts as repairs are required.
