Summary: The Restaurant Manager is responsible for maintaining a high degree of guest and staff member satisfaction while assisting with the day-to-day operation of all food venues in the facility by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to multitask, think quickly and maintain a calm demeanor in dealing with difficult people.
· Ensures the highest quality product reaches our guests and meets culinary specifications.
· Conducts daily shift meetings for planning and organizing workloads to meet business needs while problem-solving and streamlining open issues including procedural and policy matters.
· Assists in on-the-job training and coordination of training for all new hires.
· Assists management with motivating, developing, coaching, and counseling staff members to ensure the standard level of service excellence is provided to all guests.
· Visits all tables during every guest’s meal to ensure satisfaction and consistent quality.
· Notifies management of low inventory and recommends new inventory.
· Assists with labor controls and assigning duties to staff members.
· Reports staff member issues, incidents, and accidents to management.
· Compensating and discounting guest checks where applicable.
· Assists management with opening and closing responsibilities and assigning duties to staff, including dining room set-up, and conducting frequent walk-through of each venue.
· Ensure that all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
· Maintains a high level of knowledge of the company’s products and happenings are communicated properly to each guest established rapport with all guests through name recognition.
· Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management and moves with a sense of urgency.
· Adheres to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
· Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports all accidents and incidents to management.
· Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the company Employee Handbook.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
