OVERVIEW:
A notable restaurant group founded by an internationally acclaimed chef, seeks an Assistant General Manager to bring impeccable standards and a passion for hospitality and great food to its daily operations. The AGM will be responsible for day to day operations at this upscale hotel's restaurant serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, daily.
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for providing the brand's standard of remarkable experiences and exceptional hospitality to guests. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the supervision of the staff, delegates assignments/duties, and oversees the guest experience. Works to accomplish departmental goals, strategies, and objectives, while assuring quality product, maximum guest satisfaction and maintaining budgetary profit margins.
We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and hands-on Manager to join our team. We are searching for an energetic, highly motivated person with a passion for hospitality. In this position, you will act as the leader in the restaurant, upholding service priorities including fast, friendly, professional, and responsive service to the team and guests. This position will report to the General Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years of professional, full service, Fine Dining Restaurant management experience
- Previous AGM experience is preferred (1-2 years)
- Polished and professional manner
- Passionate about hospitality
- Hospitality/Culinary Degree from CIA, Johnson and Wales or equivalent preferred but not required
- Open availabillty
