Play All Day offers exceptional dog daycare and safe and secure hoteling for furry family members of humans.
We are seeking a General Manager for our Windham, NH location. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility’s operations, ensuring the highest standard of care and service for our guests and clients. This includes creating a positive and engaging environment for dogs, clients and staff as well as full responsibility for the financial success of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily operations to ensure that the facility runs smoothly & safely. This includes scheduling, assigning tasks & providing excellent care.
- Manage & supervise all staff, including hiring, training & performance management.
- Responsible for the budget & financial performance of the facility, monitoring revenues, & expenses to ensure profitability.
- Manage inventory & purchasing for day-to-day facility requirements.
- Ensure the facility exceeds all standards for cleanliness, safety & comfort.
- Interact with clients, address inquiries, concerns and feedback, ensuring exceptional client service as well as a stellar reputation in the community.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop & implement strategies to attract new clients & retain existing ones.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices & advancements in dog care and behavior. Implement improvements to enhance the facility’s overall quality of care & client service.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a General Manager in the pet care industry.
- Passion for Dogs and the Industry: A genuine love for dogs & a passion for providing exceptional care for them
- Financial Management: A solid understanding of financial principles & capable of creating & managing budgets, analyzing financial reports & implementing strategies to optimize profitability.
- Staff Management & Leadership: Experience managing a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Client Service: Exceptional client service skills with the ability to address client concerns effectively.
- Marketing and Sales: Familiar with developing & implementing marketing strategies including digital marketing, advertising & sales strategies.
- Education: Bachelors degree preferred.
