Full Time Medical Front Operations Manager

Greater Knoxville Ear, Nose and Throat has been a growing privately owned medical and surgical practice for more than 26 years. We are looking for the right person to join our team of professionals. With our four clinical locations, three hospital affiliations, eleven providers and nine audiologist we are able to offer Knoxville and surrounding areas the ENT health care they need from sinus surgery to head and neck cancer surgery. We also provide allergy testing and treatment, hearing aid evaluation and fitting, and CT diagnostic scans in office to accommodate our patient’s needs.

Position Summary

This manager will be responsible for the daily functions and operations of four clinical locations and 20 employees. Direct responsibilities include staffing, training and scheduling of employees, and will oversee appointments, physician’s schedules, all aspects of the check in and out process, and switchboard. Must possess excellent communication skills and exhibit a teamwork attitude. Willing to work with other managers to ensure the practice’s goals are met. They will report directly to the Practice Administrator.

Position Qualifications

Pervious medical office management required.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of front office duties including appointments, maintaining 11 providers’ schedules, patient registration, charge entry, referrals and precertification
• Ability to anticipate needs of employees and patients in order to navigate a changing workload
• Implement and monitor office policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and ethics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Responsible for the recruitment, hiring and training of staff
• Onboard new employees and ensure compliance with all required onboarding tasks
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance
