Full Time Bookkeeper

We are a growing family-owned company with multiple subsidiaries in the greater Seattle area looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit card management and reconciliation
• Complete accounts payable
• Assist in accounts receivable for subsidiary companies
• Categorize sales tax records and file monthly and quarterly tax reports
• Maintain monthly accounting close
• Prepare monthly reconciliation, financial statements and all supporting documents
• Support sales tax reporting for different states (i.e., financial nexus)
• Assist in payroll calculation
• Support other staff with Quickbooks and accounting queries

Skills and Qualifications:

• Considerable accounting experience, including as a bookkeeper is required
• Mastery with Quickbooks
• Strong familiarity with bank reconciliations
• Well-founded grasp of excise and sales tax
• Experience with journal entries
• Payroll experience
• Proven knowledge of customer invoices
• Foundational knowledge of credit card reconciliation
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail as a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel to various subsidiary locations (around once a week or as needed - travel expenses will be reimbursed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
