Job Description


Partners with HR Leadership to understand and carry out the strategic vision and ensure successful implementation of HR Technology Roadmaps. Develops and leads the Talent Solutions capability across the enterprise to encompass a common intake process, thorough requirements gathering, ROI/Business impact assessment, prioritization amongst appropriate stakeholders, and execution of all prioritized requests. Liaison between Talent Stakeholders and People Analytics to help the organization streamline and automate approaches to HR/Talent data, as well as streamline reporting of complex trends. This role will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing enterprise-wide core Talent Solutions requests, to ensure we have meaningful and accurate data to enable our leaders to make better data-driven people and organizational decisions.

Essential Functions

  • HR Solution Owner for Talent Solutions that includes but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Learning, etc.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of Talent Solutions team and ensure resources are allocated appropriately to meet objectives.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts across HR/Talent/People Analytics to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight.
  • Promotes development of Talent Solutions Team Members through training, feedback and coaching, and accountability to measurable goals/outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and further develop future direct reports in designing, testing and building the tools and processes to report, manage and analyze HR/Talent data.
  • Analyze current business practices, user needs, and work-flow processes to develop and implement solutions based on business requirements.
  • Manages projects/process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate growth to new levels of quality.
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Conduct vendor interviews to assess fit against requirements and make recommendations for vendor partners that meet business needs.
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving HR/Talent Solutions issues, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Develops requirements documentation for various business/HR initiatives. Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains end users on new and existing processes/functionality.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders in HR, Operations, BI, and other areas of IT to ensure customer needs are well understood and thoughtful, scalable solutions are deployed to drive consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example in managing projects and designing practical and efficient long-term solutions
  • Accountable for data integrity continuous improvements, driving the organization to make better data-driven decisions and to find key insights
  • Identifies HR/Talent data collection and storage gaps and help implement solutions to properly collect useful information
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HR/Talent Solutions with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
  • Adheres to the data privacy policy and ensure proper data access rules are applied across the population with access to HR reports
  • Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, MIS, computer science, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience in HR/Talent Solutions, Reporting, or related IT/Technical capacity required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in large scale project ownership required
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum Framework highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong documentation, organizational skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • The ability to understand and translate data needs into concise and presentable reports and presentations
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Infor CloudSuite HCM, GHR, TM, and Lawson S3 preferred
  • Ability to lead, coach, mentor and motivate a diverse team; ensure team and individual accountability and performance standards are met
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to convey complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision making
  • Excellent analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
  • Excellent customer service skills
