A growing client is working with Robert Half to hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the Human Resources department. Major responsibilities
- Enhance the organization's Human Resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and Human Resources policies, programs, and practices
- Inform employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
- Maintain and deploy applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
- Investigate compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
- Establish management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Catalog historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
- Evaluate reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
- Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
- Lead human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Attend interdepartmental meetings with other managers
- Lead all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

- 5+ years of supervisory experience within Human Resources
- Solid understanding of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
- Impeccable ethics, integrity, and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar field
- PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired
- An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
- Ability to view issues without bias
- Strong organization skills
- 10+ years in Human Resources
