Our business is looking for an experienced and talented Staff Accountant or CPA to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of duties which include interacting with clients, producing accurate Financial Statements, recording asset purchase/sells, using Quickbooks for reporting. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, comfortable using Quickbooks Online and Desktop, and fast thinker. He or she will have their own set of clients. Pay will increase with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Organize accounting data.
- Record Asset sell and purchases.
- Track and monitor the progress of projects to completion.
- Advise clients on financial activities.
- Communicate with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Run payroll if needed.
- Required Quickbooks Online & Desktop experience.
- Be able to read Financial Statements.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Set up new clients books/statements.
- Process Texas Sales & Use Tax.
- Work with Texas Workforce, insurance auditors, State & IRS if needed.
- Double check your work.
- Provide customer software support as needed.
- Tax return knowledge is a plus for this job.
- Minimal training for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
