Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, well organized, individual to join our small growing company. Qualified candidate will assist in the financial goals of the company. This position will involve A/P, A/R, payroll, creating financial reports, job costing, purchasing and general bookkeeping responsibilities. It’s a dynamic position for a candidate with at least 4 years of experience in accounting with skills in office management.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly entering receipts, bills and creating invoices and purchase orders in QuickBooks.
• Weekly bill payments and customer payments through QuickBooks.
• Create reports including expense, job profit and labor.
• Conduct financial audits of employee's hours and spending.
• Month end close with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Twice per month assembling and submitting payroll.
• Create new vendor and customer accounts, as needed.
• Ensure the success of the company by assisting in or taking on other office tasks such as sending and receiving packages, assisting visitors, following up on orders with vendors, etc.

Experience and Skills:

· Minimum of 4 years of experience in A/R, A/P, and payroll responsibilities

· Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word

· Experience with QuickBooks Desktop

· Good communication skills with good follow-through

· Formal education with a focus on finance.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Understanding GAAP principles and accrual-based method of accounting.

· CPA, a plus

Pay:

$25-$35 per hour Depending on Experience
