At Utah Real Estate Accountants, we specialize in accounting and tax advisory services for real estate investors and professionals nationwide. We are searching for a talented Bookkeeper to ensure our client financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date. From managing accounts payable to reconciling bank statements, you'll be the go-to guru for all things financial!

What You'll Do:

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for 20+ clients with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring everything balances to the penny.
• Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable like a pro, ensuring smooth cash flow.
• Process payroll with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate payments to our client team members.
• Record debits and credits accurately, maintaining a clear financial trail for client business operations.
• Monitor any variances from the projected client budgets, proactively identifying and addressing financial discrepancies.
• Assist with financial reporting, providing insights for clients that help shape their business decisions.
• Collaborate with our team to streamline financial processes and boost productivity.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Tax preparation experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of payroll and bookkeeping principles.
• MUST be proficient with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office applications.
• Real estate experience with a focus on fix & flips, short and long-term rentals, and multi-unit rentals is highly desirable.
• Stellar organizational skills and an ability to juggle high volumes of complex data with ease.
• A team-player mentality and a positive attitude that lights up the room.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A strong sense of ownership and an innate drive to exceed expectations.
• A passion for numbers and a meticulous eye for detail.
