Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Fulfillment Lead. This position will be responsible for managing the warehouse hub area daily operations and will also be required to act as a driver to do local shipment pickup and delivery. The candidate will work closely with the operation and team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and inventory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse hub area, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts in the Hub area.
- Operate a forklift to handle incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure that all shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and loaded onto the vehicle for delivery.
- Act as a driver to do local shipment pickup and delivery, which will require driving a company-owned vehicle.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that arise during the delivery process.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse hub area.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50pounds.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and have experience in material handling duties.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (The company normal working hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. Sometimes may require the candidate to work overtime.)
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures is a plus.
