Fulfillment Center Lead

Assist the Department Coordinators with directing the day-to-day activities of the Fulfillment Center (FC). Responsible for high accuracy, productivity, level of service, and overall lead responsibilities related to the FC. Assists with the completion of assignments related to your FC staff as needed and directed. This position works closely with FC Team Members and FC Coordinators, developing and maintaining relationships that ensure the highest quality of service to both our internal and external customers while meeting department and FC operational goals.
Responsibilities
General

• Maintain a safety and quality driven environment. Promote organizational mindset throughout facility
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained, participate in the training, SOP certification, and responsible for Team Member performance
• Participate and or lead daily huddles with team.
• Record and analyze data, provide reports, responsible for assisting in completion of Metrics and ICR's as well as Team Member and overall Department performance. Manage to the department budget.
• Create and implement process improvements
• Create a fun/team centered environment
• Assume responsibilities in the absence of other Leads or department Coordinator

Time Management Requirements
The below listed requirements apply at all times unless alternate arrangements have been made and approved by a Supervisor:

• Be clocked in at the start of your scheduled shift.
• Responsible for making sure you use the time clock by swiping in at the beginning of your shift, out for your lunch breaks (lunch breaks are mandatory), in when you return from lunch, and out at the end of your shift to accurately track hours worked.
• All overtime is to be pre-approved and kept to a minimum.
• Swipe card and access badge must be always worn.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate degree (AA) or one year of technical training preferred. Minimum of one year related experience; or combination of education and experience including good work history.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Good oral and written skills, strong analytical skills

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand numbers for labels and locations

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Email, Word and Excel
• Order picker certification a plus
• Understand, support and contribute to team goals, utilize team resources and adhere to the Road Runner Sports Employee Handbook.
• Highly organized, customer service oriented and detail oriented
• Self-motivated / Operate in a self-managed manner and contribute to the overall good of the department and the company
• Meet ever changing departmental requirements by being flexible, cooperative, and professional.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend and lift for long periods of time. Lift up to 50 lbs.
