YOUR ROLE
As the Summer Camp Counselor you will supervise students during our preschool Summer Camp program. This position collaborates with our Enrichment Coordinator to administer an engaging, safe, and fun trilingual - Spanish, Mandarin, English - Summer Camp Program for nursery through rising kindergarten age children. We are a close-knit team, and value initiative, flexibility, and a can- do approach.

ABOUT YOU
- You love working with children: You enjoy supporting student learning and are confident working with a mix age group of 2-5 year old children, or one year olds
- You are a passionate about the program: You are excited to work in a day camp setting and know to always put the campers’ needs and program first
- You are a people person: You are warm, courteous, and professional with children, families and caregivers
- You love being part of a team: You support your co-workers by being responsible, punctual, flexible and willing to help others as needed
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Supervise and care of the children’s daily needs (including assistance with bathrooming/diapering for young children)
- Implement the daily schedule
- Prepare and organize classroom materials
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all campers at all times
- Lead group activities indoors and outdoors
- Undergo job-specific training before Camp begins
- Supervise dismissal & arrival
- Supervise meals, snacks, and nap times
Position Type: Full-Time 40 hours per week (on-site M-F 8:30am-4:30pm, June 24th -August 16th with in-person training during week of June 17th)
Requirements:- 1 year experience working with children age 1 or ages 2-6 in a group setting (eg. classroom, camp, enrichment classes)
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
