Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler

Job Description: As a front desk Receptionist/Biller at Fulfilled Care, you will be the face of our practice, providing exceptional support to patients and ensuring the efficient operation of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet patients and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Schedule and manage appointments for psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Verify patient insurance information and educate patients on their benefits
• Collect co-pays and payments, providing receipts and reconciling daily transactions(majority of this is automated)
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages as needed
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrist to coordinate patient care and address billing inquiries
• Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
• Previous experience in a medical or psychiatric office setting is highly desirable
• Proficiency in medical billing procedures and insurance verification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a solo practitioner environment
• Proficiency in using computer software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. We utilize eClinicalWorks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
