Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks, medical or dental office settings, and possess strong communication skills.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of appointments
- Handle billing and payment processing
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

Skills:
- Proficient in using office systems and software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
