- This is a front desk position, although, cross training will be provided to insure that the employee can float to help where they are needed.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be dependable.
- Multitasking and a positive demeanor is a must.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both in person, over the phone and in writing.
- Enter all patient information including insurance and demographics.
- Schedule and follow up on patient appointments and create patient files.
- Photocopy insurance cards, document details, and verify patient's coverage for upcoming appointments.
- Collect any copays the patient might have the day of the appointment.
- Answer multi-line phone system and direct callers to the requested personnel in a timely manner.
- Bilingual ( English/Spanish)
