Position Overview:
Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry seeks a bilingual Front Desk Coordinator with dental experience to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, have knowledge of Medicaid procedures, and enjoy working with children and parents. This role requires flexibility to work two Saturdays a month and offers great benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and parents warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
- Manage appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling, via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, including Medicaid, and assist with related paperwork.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area with necessary forms and supplies.
- Assist with billing, payment processing, and financial discussions with patients and parents.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous dental office or pediatric healthcare experience required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures and insurance verification preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and parents.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Team player with flexibility to work Saturdays.
