- Serve as CM textbook adoptions liaison between CM faculty and CSU bookstore ensuring correct and accurate textbook selections are made each semester for each CM course.
- Manage CM email, phone, and voicemail
- Maintain office supply needs and distribute office materials
- Checks out technical equipment and keeps logs; assists with inventory and management of equipment
- Monitor and update graduate student applications and program queues in Slate
- Monitor the CM Graduate Advising mailbox and respond or distribute mail accordingly
- Notify applicants with incomplete applications
- Maintain decision spreadsheets and faculty evaluations for each applicant
- Liaison with Graduate Admissions, CM Graduate Program Coordinator, and CM Graduate Committee
- Enter committee decisions (admitted, waitlisted, or denied) in Slate
- Notify applicants of faculty decisions
- Monitor and reply to inquires made through Slate or graduate program email account
- Propose and coordinate department website updates and assist with content development of new website pages.
- Work collaboratively with CHHS communication team and CM Director of Academic and Administrative Operations
- Serve as building proctor for Guggenheim Hall and Preconstruction Center, and as assistant proctor for Industrial Sciences Lab.
- Develops and enforces a building safety plan for Guggenheim Hal and Preconstruction Center and communicates updates to staff, faculty and students when necessary.
- Surplus equipment, supplies, furniture using the CSU EACR System
- Manage keycard system for CM doors (C-CURE)
- Manage keys for the department including issuing and returning keys and performing annual key audit
- Submit and track facilities maintenance requests
- Monitor AED (located in Precon) and submit monthly report on status of AED
- Monitor all display cases; update upon request; clean annually
- Manage office operations including keys, and coordinate with CSU facilities management on building maintenance and repairs.
- Procure supplies and equipment for the department and Front Office.
- Serve and search support to search committees as needed; take meeting notes, posting jobs to various recruitment sites, arrange schedules, and help coordinate interview logistics.
- Serve as backup PCARD reallocator for department
- Manage industry advisory board membership including processing new memberships and renewals, and communications with existing and prospective members
- Assist with collection and organization of information related to program accreditation
- Assist with event planning, coordination, organization, execution, clean up for department events for internal and external constituents
