1.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greets and schedule patient appointment in person and on phone in a professional, respectful, confidential manner.
· Has computer knowledge to accurately/efficiently schedule and prep patients charts.
· Performs a variety of clerical tasks and multitask when needed.
· Strong focus on customer service excellence and remains self-motivated.
· Understanding and knowledge of radiology is preferred but not a must.
· Understanding and knowledge of insurance carriers, and procedures obtaining authorization if needed prior to appointment – is preferred.
· Processes payments for co pays/deductibles/co-insurance.
· Communicates effectively with patients, staff and guests with professionalism.
· Adheres to HIPAA guidelines, policies and procedures.
2.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education/Certification/License:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be a team player, professional, comfortable with computers and be customer service oriented. Excellent phone, people and organizational skills. Ability to pay attention to detail and efficiently multi-task in a highly productive clinical setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
