Front Desk Receptionist/Customer Service Representative

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing Front Desk receptionist / customer Service Representative for our dance & music studio. Come join our fun and friendly team!

Job Responsibilities

• Answer questions about our dance classes & music lessons
• Enter registrations into our computer system, accept payments.
• Answer and make phone calls, respond to emails.
• Proof-reading, folding brochures, some filing and other light clerical tasks.
• Handle sales in our small retail dance-wear shop.

What We're Looking For

• Customer Service Skills - you'll be the face of our business to many of our existing and prospective customers
• Reliable - you may be the first person at the studio to unlock the doors or the last person to lock up at the end of the night
• Outgoing - this job involves a LOT of interaction with people
• Detail-Oriented - you'll be handling money & registrations and you'll be frequently interrupted
• Basic Computer Competency - we largely operate via email, Microsoft Office and an electronic class management system; you need to be comfortable with digital tools.
• A Dance-lover or music-lover - it's what we do, we'd love someone who is excited about it.

Hours

• Approximately 3-4 afternoons and/or evenings per week
• Occasional Saturdays 9am-4:30pm
• Additional hours possible filling in for other desk staff
• Schedule will be set when hired and stay consistent through the end of June, then can be re-evaluated.

Compensation

• $16-$20/hr based on experience
