SalaryWe are looking for a Front Desk - Office Coordinator who is a multitasker, dependable, well-spoken and shows initiative when needed.
The right candidate will work closely with referring practices to help coordinate patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Presenting treatment plans to patients
- Understanding of Endodontics operations and patient flow issues
- Coordinate fees and insurance benefits for patients
- Ability to understand insurance plans is preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish ) preferred.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one or more years of previous experience as a treatment coordinator in a dental practice is preferred
- Ability to understand insurance plans is preferred
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental, medical, or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental / medical terminology, coding (ADA)(ICD-9, ICD-10), and insurance verification processes
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
