Front office in a dental setting: At least 1 year (REQUIRED)
Job Description:
- Directs patients /checks in patients
- Checks insurance verifications for patients prior to appointments
- Answers phones
- Scans patient records into computer charts
- Assists patients with basic appointment questions
- Refer patients to other providers if necessary
- Triage calls with dental emergencies
- Answers patient questions and maintains patient's rights to privacy
Job requirements:
- Ability to comply with patient confidentiality and HIPAA laws
- Exhibit excellent communication skills while interacting with patients, co-workers and outside vendors
- Must be task oriented with the ability to focus and produce accurate results
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday
- 7:15am-4:00 pm
