- Creates and maintains an enthusiastic and positive environment. Maintains presence at reception desk to ensure prompt customer service and safety of all residents within the reception area and exits. Ensures sign in and out in designated logs.
- Answers telephone calls promptly and appropriately. Transfers calls and take messages as required.
- Assists Residents with telephone communication as necessary.
- Receives inquiries and releases information in accordance with established policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Maintains a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, department extensions, key team members.
- Greets all visitors and residents warmly. Manages incoming mail for the households.
- Support resident move-in and move-out process through chart prep and labeling. Maintain a supply of charting materials at all times.
- Provide administrative support for PE to include daily census; resident information and business office administration.
- Provides necessary census information to appropriate parties and departments via email including date and time of arrival, suite number and resident’s name.
- Books appointments for residents.
- Posts daily staffing summary per regulation and daily schedule.
- Ensure the distribution of daily newspapers.
- Alerts Medical Record Coordinator of physician arrivals; provides physician with their individual folder located at the reception desk for signatures.
- Assists with scheduling as needed as well as providing household assistance as needed.
- Maintains accuracy of Wander guard picture book with Admissions Coordinator.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years general office experience.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Must enjoy working in a supportive role
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
