We are seeking a dynamic individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to become a part of our innovative, and caring dental practice team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Front Desk Receptionist's primary responsibility is to handle all Front Desk duties for the practice. The Front Desk Coordinator must ensure that patients are the number one priority
- Greets and checks-in patients as well as obtains necessary financial, personal, and or medical updates.
- Enters patient information accurately into our patient database.
- Checks-out patients upon completion of the appointment, and schedules the next appointment(s) as needed.
- Provides patients with any necessary documents, including treatment plans, receipts, appointment reminder cards.
- Verifies insurances, and updates patients accounts accordingly.
- Ensures that procedure codes are accurately entered.
- Provides patients with a high level of customer service.
- Schedules and confirms appointments.
- Process insurance claims.
- Collects payments and processes billing.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Dental Front Office experience is preferred but not required.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Customer service oriented and able to communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
- Strong PC skills and ability to learn and successfully use new programs as required.
- Prior insurance verification preferred.
- Dentrix experience is a PLUS
