Oakhurst Healthcare Centeris currently searching for a talented Registered Dietitian to join our team!

Registered Dietitian Responsibilities:
- Attends risk meetings, staff meetings, dining services committee meetings, QA meetings.
- Attends daily stand-up meetings when available.
- Attends weekly leadership meetings when available.
- With menu committee, writes the menu and spreadsheets for the residents and Head Start Program.
- Completes diet histories, assessments, MDS, RAPS and Care Plans on residents.
- Reviews and updates the budget with input from the Supervisor of Dining Services.
- Assists with completion of the Equipment Purchase Forms for new equipment.
- Completes the capital budget.
- Arranges for In-Services for the Dining Services Department.

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nutrition and Dining Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. This individual is responsible for assuring that resident nutritional status is maintained and improved, quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and the department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Registered Dietitian Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences/Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian in the designated state of practice.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
- Must be able to pass a background check.
