Requirements:
High school Graduate / GED
- One year previous Physician Office experience preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Requires excellent communication skills to relate to physicians, patients, outside organizations/people, and other office staff.
- Knowledge of answering multi-line phone system and typing
Job Description:
- Check In/Out patients
- Answer Phones
- Assist patients with initial paperwork
- Schedule and coordinate appointments
- Process insurance claims in compliance with law requirements
- Use medical software to support all transactions
- Answer patients’ queries and ensure quality customer service
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses to help with scheduling of patient test.
