Friendly Clinic Looking for Front Desk Help
About Us: We’re a sports medicine clinic that treats everyone from active seniors to professional/college athletes to injured kids, and everyone in-between.
We’re a small team of around a dozen people, and everyone is genuinely friendly and respectful to each other — egos aren’t welcome, but pitching in to help each other when things get busy definitely is. If you have a great idea on how to do something better, you will be listened to.
Our clean and air-conditioned clinic is located on Aviation Blvd in Hermosa Beach, an easy trip from the 405 or Pacific Coast Highway, and surrounded with break time options from Trader Joes to Starbucks.
About You: You’re friendly, empathetic, detailed oriented, punctual, and organized. You’re good with people: making them feel comfortable, answering their questions, and listening to their concerns. You are computer savvy and a quick learner. You either like (or OK, don’t mind) doing laundry, since we go through a lot of it.
You’re a team player, because we’re a small office so we all play a part in making this a nice place to work. If our cleaning person goes on vacation, we’ll help empty the garbage cans that week, etc. We’ll rarely text you outside of work hours, but we do have a list with everyone’s number in case there’s an important question or update.
Job Details: We’re looking for someone to work 40 hours per week. We need someone who can work until 6:30pm Mon-Thurs and until 6pm on Fridays.
On an average day, you’ll greet patients when they come in, answer the phone, charge copays, and make appointments. You'll help with the general flow of patients in and out of the clinic all day. We use fresh linens for each patient, so you’ll empty hampers, run the washer/dryer, and fold clean sheets throughout the day.
You’ll be working closely with our Office Manager, who’s always ready to help you answer the phone or take care of waiting patients when the clinic is busy.
