Front Desk Receptionist - Des Plaines

We are currently searching for a full-time Front Desk Associate for our busy dermatology practice with multiple locations.

The right candidate will:

• Greet guests/answer phones
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA with patient records and information
• Provide outstanding customer service to each patient
• Schedule appointments
• Process patient payments
• Daily closing and balance of transactions
• Clerical set up of new patient records including; scanning paperwork, filing, keeping forms stocked and assisting with insurance verification
• Attention to detail
• Good follow up and follow through
• Ability to work with interruptions/distractions and stay on task

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or previous Front Desk experience
• Medical office experience preferred
• Experience with EMR's

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
