Role Snapshot

Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, our Director of Information Technology will lead two critical functions: Engineering Services and Emerging Technology. This leader:



  • Will lead our Emerging Technologyteam within our IT Organization that oversee advanced analytics, reporting and visualization, automation, and rule-based development. This team includes specialized data and technology engineers and developers. Will ensure project and product deliverables are consistent with enterprise expectations regarding analytics in both content and quality.
  • Will lead the establishment of IT engineering practices to move WPS technology forward to support digital transformation, operational excellence, and enterprise growth. This includes establishing software engineering and quality engineering practice that focuses on delivering high quality products by incorporating software engineering best practice and incorporating a mix of manual and automated testing best practice at various stages of the development lifecycle. Evaluating and incorporating latest AI technologies tools to build high quality software applications faster and chea
  • Will foster and engage best-in-class Agile execution, maintain high resource quality. Ensure transparency with business partners and hold teams accountable to timelines demanded by project or product development. Establish business metric accountability and a culture of business-oriented delivery.
  • Will engage in full lifecycle of team management to attract, engage, elevate, retain, coach and performance manage teams of exceptional engineers and data analysts.

Have in-depth knowledge and experience with the following:



  • IT contract negotiation, assessments, RFPs and their likely cost implications.
  • Engagement with procurement and legal contract advisors.
  • Development and implementation of processes and policies.
  • Agile transformation and Application Product development.
  • Application rationalization.

Minimum Qualifications



  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience
  • 5 or more years of related work and leadership experience


Preferred Qualifications



  • 5 or more years in a leadership role or proven leadership ability.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated government environment.
  • Experience using modern data and analytics software.
  • Experience with software quality, testing and reliability.
  • Experience in data management and analytics domains (e.g., data management, business intelligence development, advanced analytics, metadata management, Big Data development).
  • Extensive understanding of data and analytical frameworks in digital health.
  • Experience in planning and overseeing a budget.
  • Working knowledge of the agile/scrum process.


Salary Range

$150,000 ~ 200,000

The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
