SalaryMedical office looking for the right person to join our team.
The position we are looking to fill requires a person with excellent customer service, previous experience in a medical office for at least one year required. Insurance verification and patient collections experience required.
The position requires multitasking, attention to detail, working with patients and great organization.
Our new team member should be self motivated, dependable, and detail oriented. Able to work independently, invest ownership in job and able to motivate others.
The position is full-time 8:30 am to 5:30 pm M-F.
We have six locations Southlake, Argyle, Flower mound, North Richland Hills, Denton and Keller.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and checking patients in
- Checking out patients, Billing, collecting payments
- Customer Service face to face and over the phone
- Prepping for the upcoming appointments (get referrals or required information in advance of the appointment.)
- Auditing patient accounts for all signed paperwork and confirming all needed information on file.
- Answering multi-lined phones
- Data entry
- Verifying insurance before patients are seen online and over the phone. Detailed benefits required. Filing and scanning paperwork into the patients accounts
- Pre-certing supplies as needed
- Surgery Scheduling is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
