Front Desk Receptionist

Forum Health is a nationwide network of medical healthcare providers and medical offices specializing in functional and integrative medicine. Our Santa Rosa location is looking to hire an part time Front Desk Receptionist. As the Medical Front Desk Receptionist, you will utilize your knowledge and skills to provide excellent support to our patients and office staff. You will be responsible for triage phone calls and emails. Additional duties may include:

This is a part time position Monday-Thursday 8:30am-2:30pm or 9:00am-3:00pm with the probability of becoming a full-time position within 12-18 months.

• Use Helios EMR to perform tasks. This includes check-in and check-out of patients; adding new patients; collecting payments, and inputting intake data; updating existing patients contacts as needed.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Opening and closing duties for the clinic.
• Greet patients in person or by phone in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Ordering and filing lab tests and results
• Organizing and scanning all incoming lab results
• Maintaining patient files
• Composing routine emails and notifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service and office environments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, including pleasant, professional telephone and interpersonal manner.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict in a positive and productive way.
• Able to work independently, solve problems, and set priorities in a multi-tasking environment.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and pro-active
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Familiarity with office equipment and technology
• Familiarity with database software plus ability to learn Helios program for data entry and reporting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
