Front Desk Medical Receptionist

Our North Phoenix client is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for their busy Medical office.
Responsibilities will include;

• Greet Patients
• Verify patient demographics and insurances
• Update any changes in patient's account
• Scan insurance card(s)
• Notify Billing Department of insurance changes/additions
• Collect and post copays/payments
• Generate receipt for copays/payments
• Maintain daily copay/payment collection process
• Balance daily receipts against Payment Review Report
• Schedule appointments
• Follow up appointment telephone requests
• New Patients go to New Patient Scheduler
• Reschedule cancelled appointments
• Other tasks Site Specific
• Review each patient on schedule and verify co/payment and eligibility
• Review patient balance and update superbill with detailed information
• Contact patient to review balance, if any prior to their schedule appointment

Qualification/Requirement:

• Ability to apply a common sense understanding
• Ability to handle problems involving occasional, last-minute changes in
• generally standardized situations.

Education/Training/Experience:

• High school diploma or a GED
• 1 year related experience and / or training

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
