Mobile Vascular Physicians, MVP, is an industry-leader in vascular care. We provide concierge vascular and interventional services to long-term care facilities throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. MVP focuses on prevention and healing lower extremity wounds and ensuring each patient’s vascular disease is managed properly so they can maintain or improve their overall health and avoid hospitalization and irreversible disease. Our highly skilled clinicians are widely recognized in their field for their endovascular expertise. They provide compassionate and evidence-based care to long-term care residents as well as outpatients. What You Will Do
- Greet everyone that enters the office
- Check visitors in
- Sending/receiving faxes
- Answer all incoming calls promptly and in a professional manner
- Maintaining daily schedule
- Scanning in any necessary paperwork
- Send meeting invites via Microsoft Outlook
- Sort, file, scan and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accordingly
- Must be a polished and professional team player, willing to help out with various projects and tasks as needed
- Assist office staff with special requests
- Complete other administrative duties as needed
What We Need in You
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Two years of medical office experience preferred.
- Medical terminology and coding courses preferred.
- Must be pleasant, easy-going, and able to work under pressure
- Able to maintain a flexible schedule and strong work ethic
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Must be familiar with computers programs and data entry
- Have a team player attitude, energetic, with outstanding organizational skill.
- Ability to multi-task, work under stressful environment, assist and support staff tasks as needed.
- Interested in being a part of a growing team
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone, in writing and in person.
- Participates in opportunities of continuing education.
- Demonstrates the ability to utilize recognized channels of communication.
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, co-workers, and other health team members.
- Multiple languages preferred
