Candidates will schedule general radiology exams, including biopsies. Preparation for exam and or procedure will have to be communicated to patient and assurance patient has clear understanding of prep. Additionally, they would also be responsible for answering phones, transferring calls, downloading outside CD’s as well as preparing discs for patients. In this position, you will work closely with technologists, radiologists and interventional nurses to coordinate procedures.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge needed for this position includes, ICD10 and CPT codes, insurance policies including Worker's Compensation and No Fault and insurance authorizations. Qualified candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D, Associates degree preferred not required
Skills, Knowledge or Abilities: Qualified candidates must possess strong clerical and customer service skills communicating clearly and effectively with others.
Experience: Qualified applicants should have at least one year of clerical experience but is not required.
