Although experience is preferred, all candidates are welcome. Candidates must have a passion for veterinary medicine to be able to provide an outstanding patient/client experience. Excellent communication with clients and staff is essential as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Computer and phone skills are required.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Greet owners as they arrive
- Check-in patients for their appointments
- Collect and confirm pet and owner information
- Use of multi-line phone, text, e-mail system
- Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
- Review charges and process payments
- Receive and relay communication with clients verbally and in electronic medical records
- Other administrative duties, as assigned
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication with clients and coworkers
- Proficient in prioritizing and multi-tasking in busy environment
- Excellent computer and phone skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, electronic medical record software, and other technology
