Front Desk Associate/Breakfast Attendant

We are looking for a courteous, customer service driven, happy, ambitious, and inspired Front Desk Associate/Breakfast Attendantto join our growing hospitality team! We are looking for an individual who is motivated to move up in this company/ industry.

Job Description

We seek an energetic, friendly and intelligent person to assist our guests warmly, efficiently and professionally in all Front Office related duties. The Front Desk candidates must be dependable and responsible. Some of these include but are not limited to:

Front Desk Associate:

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognizing Marriott Reward Members
• Check guests in and out and make reservations for hotel as needed
• Take reservation calls from current and future guest, professional and personable phone skills.
• Ability to handle upset guest through exceptional customer service and ability to problem solve effectively
• Great communication skills, ability to take on new tasks
• A team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently
• Take action to solve guest problems/ complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines
• Clean, dry, sort and fold laundry

Breakfast Attendant:

• Preparing for, setting up, and disassembling the buffet
• Ensuring that the buffet remains stocked with sufficient amounts of food throughout service
• Interacting with guests by taking orders, responding to any questions or complaints, and clearing their eating area upon their departure
• Ensure that customers' needs are met in a timely manner so that they can leave the dining area by the end of the meal service
• Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant throughout the meal service. This includes sanitizing surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, etc.
• Update all required food logs daily
• Understanding of food safety and handling guidelines
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to remain organized, multitask, and maintain a friendly disposition while communicating with staff and customers
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
• Check stocking levels of all consumables
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing law
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.28 per hour
