Small Friendly Optometry office is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Assistant/Frame Stylist. This is a one doctor practice located in Watertown, MA.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, compassionate, friendly, organized, multi-tasking individual to support Front Desk responsibilities. Knowledge of Medical Billing a Plus. Computer skills required. Duties include but not limited to scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurances both Medical and Vision Insurances, welcoming patients, collecting payments at time of visit, preparing charts, filing, answering phone, entering patient information into the computer system, posting payments into the computer system, day to day front office duties and other clerical and administrative duties as needed. Experience with assisting patients with frame and lens selection is a PLUS.
You must have superior customer service skills when interacting with patients, as well as a friendly and professional demeanor. Optometry/medical office experience desired. You must be reliable, highly organized with attention to detail, able to multitask, team - oriented and have good interpersonal skills. You must show proof of COVID Vaccination and Booster if applicable as this is a medical office and vaccination is required. Mask is required to be worn in the office.
