Front Desk Intake Assistant

Alliance Physical Therapy and Wellness is looking for a Front Desk In-take Assistant for our Outpatient Clinics - located at the Marina Bay, Quincy facility.

Part time 24 hrs per week

Responsibilities:

• Receiving outpatient referrals and scheduling initial evaluations

• Verifying insurance coverage

• Obtaining insurance pre-authorizations

• Entering patient information into Matrix and Optima

• Performs Optima month end closeouts

• Generates Optima billing export

• Assists in month end billing as needed

• Assisting the inpatient office as needed

• Scheduling ongoing therapy appointments

• Assists in routine patient related communications ie. Faxing MD offices, preparing charts, ordering equipment

• Accepting and recording co-pays

• Collection of balances per Insurance

• Answering main clinic phone

• Meet and Greet patients
