This position provides human resources support for Gathering Place. This position reports to the People Operations Generalist and is based at Gathering Place.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct full cycle recruitment, including reviewing job descriptions, job posting, sourcing candidates, phone interviews, offer letters, pre-screening and onboarding.
- Utilize ATS system to efficiently move applicants through the hiring process.
- Provide HR assistance and service to broad audience including applicants, team members and leadership.
- Work with HR team to identify and develop recruiting strategies.
- Work with the HR Manager to create and initiate employee engagement.
- Develop an understanding of benefits and policies in order to answer team member inquiries as well as provide support during open enrollment.
- Process HR transactions in ATS by reviewing and approving manager-initiated processes or initiating processes on behalf of manager.
- Maintain data integrity by reviewing processes for accuracy.
- Escalate complex HR issues to People Operations Manager or Vice President.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations. Support compliance programs (e.g., EEO, ADA, FMLA etc.) to ensure legal, policy and compliance in all employment practices.
- Provide HR administrative and project support, including new employee set-up, maintaining employee files and organization wide communications.
- Serve as a backup for additional HR duties including special projects.
- Consistent and reliable presence to ensure that all participants, agencies, team members and leadership can receive prompt communication and service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field or combination of experience and education.
- 2+ years of recent HR experience in fast paced growth environment (Preferred).
- Experience utilizing HRIS & ATS systems (Paylocity).
