Responsibilities:

• Swiftly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables.
• Serve as a bridge between Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Convey food orders to chefs, ensuring priority and special requests are considered (e.g. allergies).
• Support wait staff.
• Welcome guests with drinks and hors d'oeuvres upon their arrival.
• Clear tables of used dishes and utensils.
• Provide information about ingredients and menu items to guests.
• Relay customer feedback or requests to the restaurant staff.
• Assist with washing, storing, and maintaining cleanliness of dishes.
• Undertake utility and janitorial tasks as required.
• Must arrive consistently and on time for all scheduled shifts.

Skills:

• Previous experience as a Food Expeditor or in a similar entry-level role in a restaurant is a bonus but not required.
• Familiarity with hygiene and food safety protocols.
• Physical capacity to carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods.
• Availability for various shifts, including weekends.
• Proficient multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
