Job Description:

As a Food Runner at Park RVA, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with our kitchen and serving staff to ensure seamless delivery of food orders to guest tables.
• Carefully carrying trays of food and beverages through our bustling venue with speed and precision.
• Confirming order accuracy and completeness before delivering to guests.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and servers to prioritize orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Assisting servers and bussers with clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests as needed.
• Providing friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the food service areas, including food pickup stations and server stations.

Qualifications:

We're looking for candidates who are energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding service. The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; we're willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.

Uniform:

Food Runners will wear the company front-of-house uniform, which includes a Park-branded shirt(provided), black slacks or black/dark wash jeans without holes, and black, closed-toe, non-slip shoes.

The Food Runner position reports directly to the Front of House Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
