SalaryThe Black Twig Diner is a southern-style restaurant and bar with a focus on Virginia grown ingredients. Serving lunch, dinner 6 days a week and brunch on the weekends, we are seeking hospitality-driven individuals to join the Front of House Team.
The right candidate is friendly, upbeat, very personable, and customer service oriented. Contingent on their role, this front of house staff may be responsible for welcoming guests, escorting them to their tables, bussing tables, running food to guests. Overall, a great team player.
Responsibilities:

- Welcoming guests to the venue and seating guests
- Answering the phones and handling to go orders
- Providing accurate wait times and monitoring waiting lists
- Delivering food and presenting food items to guests
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
- Completing side work list at the start and close of the shift
- Communicating the general offerings of The Black Twig, including menu hours, basic menu knowledge, and any upcoming special events
Qualifications:
- Experience in hospitality/customer service.
- Wearing and maintaining the prescribed uniform.
- Strong communication skills.
- Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain composed, and task-oriented in fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the restaurant's operations, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
