This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Complete Repairs using Manual Lathes and Horizontal Boring Mills
Finish and Machine Large Forgings and Castings of Various Alloys
Use Precision Measuring such as Micrometers, Dial Indicators and Veneer Calipers
Set up Machines using Fixtures and Tooling
Welding an Assortment of Materials such as Metal, Steel, and Iron for Different Components of a Ship and Propellers
Requirements:
Able to Read Work Instructions and Blueprints
Tools for the Trade
Standard PPE
Able to Use Measurement Tools
