Flooring Inventory Manager
The role of the Flooring Inventory Manager is to merchandise and sell distressed inventory in the Company's distribution center. This is to be accomplished through internally establishing a network of distressed customers and externally with communication through the Retail Sales Team. The responsibilities range from leading, motivating, training, and directing the Territory Managers on the nuances of selling distressed inventory to standard Retail customers as well as creating a database of specific distressed inventory customers.The Flooring Inventory Manager will communicate specific sales programs to internal support teams and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Flooring Industry knowledge, ability to motivate and lead large groups.
- Two years minimum experience in selling distressed inventory.
- Must have a clear understanding of internal/external procedures to help address any customer needs or problems with distressed inventory.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the flooring industry. An understanding of how the process at the retail level functions and the role the Company plays in this process.
- Should possess a full understanding of the Territory Manager's job and be able to add valuable insight regarding distressed Inventory into their daily functions.
- Must be an effective communicator and have mastered the selling process at the Territory Manager level to be an effective "coach."
- Periodically prepares and reports results, the status of accounts, and leads to manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Four Year College Degree Preferred
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or relevant field.
- 10 years of successful outside sales experience.
- 2 years of distressed inventory experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs. of Samples or Flooring Material.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required on occasion.
