Inventory Logistics Manager - Global Inventory Management

The primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of inventory management. This position will direct the control, record accuracy, and overall execution of an effective inventory management strategy. Oversight of the daily and quarterly inventory cycle counts is critical. Supervisory responsibilities include management of job assignments and activities.
- Experience in asset tracking and logistics as a lead
- The ability to supervise a team of 5 and handle multiple projects globally (USA, EMEA, APAC)
- Working in different time zones and different cultures
- Familiar with ServiceNow or program equivalent building custom reports
Scope:
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of a situation or data needs evaluation of multiple factors, including a familiarity with current business trends.
Follows processes and operational policies while selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements.
May have budget responsibilities.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform data analysis using Excel, or SQL scripts
Present data trends, reports, and findings
Provide thought leadership in driving improvements globally
Global inventory management of assets and accessories
Prevent over stock of assets and accessories globally
Manage ordering team to ensure compliance
Ensure all Logistics Operations Center meet required standard and workflow to ease the operations
Lead effort in establishing a functional baseline for as-is-state
Lead effort in defining the to-be-state with Stakeholders within the function across the globe
Define transition roadmap that includes the key components around business processes, process redesign, and change management
Working closely with other subject matter experts and stakeholders on competing/conflicting technologies, processes or staff requirements across the globe
Lead requirement analysis sessions to gather key business objectives
Identify and document gaps in process, system and reporting
Global issue resolution, coordination of project activities
Lead in the definition and design of the global functional reporting metrics
Design and maintain all on-boarding training documentation and processes for new hires
Lead Monthly Business Review / Quarterly Business Review with client Stakeholders by function
Work with team to develop audit standards for transactions and data

Required Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to deal with ambiguity and deliver results
Experience working in a leveraged metrics driven organization
Experience with setting individual objects and managing a positive outcome
Experience managing global teams, candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to motivate, develop and manage teams in EMEA, APAC and US
Ability to work in a very high pace and dynamic environment
Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs, infrastructure, and evolving business processes
Ability to work closely with the user community, interpret issues, understand requirements, and rapidly deploy solutions
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including functional leads
Ability to work directly with end users on issue resolution and process development
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with department, other company personnel and vendors to obtain and disseminate information, resolve discrepancies, respond to customer concern, and maintain good working relationships in the course of assigned work, and to offer training to users on VC equipment Ability to analyze metrics, extract trending data, provide status reports and provide continuous improvement recommendations
Ability to create and maintain technical and functional documentation
Must have the ability to build strong relationships of trust with team and client
Proficient working with spreadsheets, documents, and presentation tools specifically those that are cloud based (I.E. Google Docs)
Experience on multiple operating system platforms (Chrome OS, Windows, Linux, and/or Mac) is preferred
Excellent customer relations skills
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively

Salary Range
$76,612.56 - $120,967.20 USD (Salary)
