Purpose
~ Senior Manager, Regional Sales Planning is responsible for managing the process for generating monthly regional sales plans for each of our 7 HMA regions. This role is key in developing a regional sales plan for each region to effectively measure and track regional sales achievement, inventory availability/pipeline and profitability.
~The development of regional carflows by model for each region will be the foundation for our regions to track product availability to achieve regional sales and profit targets. This role will be the key liaison coordinating between the regional staff and National on sales planning and profit optimization.
~Strong business acumen will be critical in coordinating and communicating with various stakeholders including Finance, HMNA Production Planning, Distribution and our regions. Success will require sophisticated process and project management skills, as well as strong analytical, communication and process documentation skills.
Major Responsibilities
~ Regional Sales Planning:
~Coordinate with each region to set a regional sales plan to optimize sales success and regional profitability
~Manage the process to develop and analyze regional specific carflows to react to changing regional needs, identify opportunities and align with regional incentives and profit optimization
~Continuously monitor wholesale and retail sales achievement versus plan and prepare recommendations for supply requests to manage/optimize vehicle supply with consumer demand
~Coordinate with key stakeholders including Finance HMNA Production Planning, HMA Distribution and Regional Sales Teams to identify and address current and future risks/opportunities in the monthly sales plan
~Coordinate with National Sales Operations to train and knowledge share details of regional sales planning and Regional Sales staff members on SPOS regional carflow system
~National liaison to Regional Staff members to coordinate inventory constraints and/or available surplus for assignment/allocation
Major Responsibilities (continued)
~Work with regional staff to continuously monitor and adjust SPOS regional carflow system to improve overall accuracy of estimations of the system including regional specific adjustments with HAEA systems team
~Coordination with National Sales Operations to set annual regional business plans including Sales, Share, Wholesales and Profitability objectives
~Development of current status of Regional Sales, on the ground and pipeline inventory to Executive management on an ongoing basis
~ Profit optimization
~Coordinate with National Sales Planning and Finance teams to scenario plan "what if" scenarios in the efforts to capitalize on sales opportunities and optimize sales and profitability
~In coordination with regional sales team, provide regional volume allocation recommendations to optimize consolidated national sales and profitability
Authority
~ This position is a key member of the team responsible for creation, coordination, maintenance and report out of Regional sales rundowns
~ Provide detailed level analysis and recommendations to adjust vehicle allocation region by region to optimize sales success and HMA profitability.
~ Provide allocation recommendations by region will significantly impact enterprise-wide profitability resulting in millions of dollars in increased profitability
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor's degree preferred
~ Master's degree a plus
Related Experience
~ 8+ years of similar experience in a complex organization conducting planning, sales analysis, vehicle distribution, etc.
~ Management consulting a plus.
~ Experience creating and presenting executive facing presentations / reports
Skills/Knowledge
~ Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide robust and substantiated recommendations
~ Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
~ Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths/weaknesses and make recommendations to leverage or augment
~ Strong written and oral communication skills across diverse groups including regional staff, Finance, Executives, etc.
~ Strong interpersonal skills.

$103,600.00 - $148,000.00 Annual
