The Fleet Telematics Risk Analyst will support analysis of integration/utilization of various communications technologies used to support operations. Key responsibilities include developing knowledge of industry trends such as telematics and embedded systems, providing mitigation strategies, and conducting training sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop deep knowledge in telematics, embedded systems, and sensor technologies.
- Create mitigation strategies based on technical risk assessments.
- Conduct training on mitigation strategies for equipment operation and safety.
- Communicate fault codes with Field Operations and determine the best next steps.
- Develop proactive plans around using Telematics data to reduce future risk and equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with Service Managers as to how to proactively use telematics data to lower costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in related roles.
- Understanding of telematics, GPS, RF signals, and heavy equipment/vehicle technologies preferred.
- Ability to create heavy equipment/vehicle operation solutions that address concerns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The position involves significant collaboration and communication across teams and requires an understanding of how technology integrates with heavy equipment/vehicle operations.
