Job Description:
Colleague is currently looking for a Fleet Operations Manager in the Dallas, TX. The Fleet Manager will be working for a upscale landscape company. This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
· Organize, maintain, and oversee fleet and mechanic shop operations, including:
· Ensuring shop organization and cleanliness
· Managing day-to-day activities and tasks for mechanics
· Implementing shop safety measures and accident prevention protocols
· Scheduling preventive maintenance for the fleet
· Prioritizing repairs and managing work orders
· Providing regular repair status updates
· Processing work orders and invoices
· Tracking and replenishing parts inventory
· Handling vehicle registrations and inspections
· Performing miscellaneous mechanic duties as required
· Managing new equipment purchases and used equipment sales
· Overseeing fuel tank operations
· Maintaining digital files for fleet and work orders
· Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
· Ability to supervise and delegate tasks effectively
· Strong prioritization skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
· Excellent communication skills
· Technical proficiency in gasoline, diesel, and small engine maintenance and troubleshooting
· Working knowledge of fleet management software
· Capability to work in inclement weather conditions
· Strong multitasking abilities
· Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License

Pay: $85,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
